К почерку коллеги претензий не имею, но разрешение картинок рассчитано на человека с хорошей англоязычной фантазией.
Натаскав картинок из конца дневника, я их несколько подконтрастил и пытаюсь прочесть. Собственно, для перевода читается достаточно (если не принимать в расчёт подвывих зрительных органов). Анализировать прочитанное буду потом. Если кто меня дополнит и поправит - это бы здорово.

Monday 28th. Morning was denotely clear. Made out the entrance into the harbour of Petropaulski. Admiral Price came onboard the Virago. Up steam and preceeding the Bay of Avatski in which is situated Petropaulski. Went we… the American Flag to reconnaitre. Abandoned there a Frigate and same other shipping all ..their the harbour. Admiral stood looking Batteries. Our entrance caused a great excitement among inhabitants. The Batteries and lights were lined with people. Having taken a general survey of the enemy and look position we returned again out of the Bay and joined the Squadron.
Tuesday 29th. Stood in towards the harbour eatly in the morning with the Squadron in the enemy around off the 7 atm when the Batteries opened fire on us. The Virago returned some shot and shell into the Batteries … in the Bay.
Wednesday. 30th. Squadron at anchor about 2 ½ Miles from the town. A sail having reported to sea outside,
the Virago went out to ascertain what she was. Passing the lighthouse, the Battery fired at us as we were passing out. The Virago returned the fire with shot and shell. Seeing no sail outside the Virago returned again to the Squadron,
where she again had an engagement with the Light-House Battery. Noon, the Virago lashed the Port side of Pique had in tow the President astern and just going take the French Flag Ship Forte the port side of Virago. Unexpectedly a signal was made to anchor again when it was ascertained the Admiral had shot Himself. The attack defferred Signal made for … from the President. I found the Admiral had shot himselfwith a pistol, ball entered near the vagina of the heart – the Admiral was conscious but I perseived it was a mortal wound. He died an hour after That left him 5 P.M. The Virago returned lashed alongside the Pique all right.
Thuesday 31th Aug. 5.AM. Shiften round the asternside of the Pique from Port to Starboard. The Marins from the President and fifty men from the French came onboard the Virago to join the landing party. From 5 till 7 employed taking in tow the President and French Flag Ship. Preceed with Pique lashed the Port side the French Flag Ship the Starpoard side of the Virago and President towing astern towards the batteries 8-45. Cast off President and Forte. 8-55 Cast off Pique. The Batteries firing on ships and ships firing on batteries. Virago proceeded in for the shore and landed … party with the ships … Virago covering the landing party and returning the fire from the two Russian ships in inner Harbour … the Forts and Party of the enemy advancing on ... (?) our party. A reinforcement landed from the Squadron
